Online learning and more specifically, online Quran learning has become more and more popular over the years however, it is something that does require one to make preparations for in order to benefit from it completely. In this article, we will give you a few tips that you child can adopt in order to benefit in an online Quran class.

Prepare your own Quran learning room/space

The place you decide to gain knowledge, especially Islamic knowledge should be a pure and clean place. You must also make sure all your textbooks, pads, and stationary is available. You do not want to disrupt the class midway by looking for your stationary! Look for a space that will help you focus.

Make sure your gadgets are running properly

In an online class, all your teaching will take place...online! So that means you must make sure that the gadgets and software you are using are running properly. If you use headphones, then check to see they are fitted in properly. Also, if you use zoom, make sure you are signed in and running. Wi-fi MUST be checked as without it, there is no class.

Do your homework

Just like any school lesson, an online Quran class requires one to do their own learning in the form of homework. Just because online Quran classes are done from your home (mostly) that doesn't mean you do not get homework! In fact, most of your progression will only take place outside of your online Quran class. Online Quran classes with your tutor are places where you learn something new, and outside of it is where you are able to perfect it. So do your homework!

Final Thoughts

Online Quran classes are no different to your traditional classes and they should be treated as such. One should get prepared and conduct classes as they would with traditional face to face classes. In fact, we should be more vigilant as online Quran learning is done at the comfort of your own home and can make one lazy.
